I enjoyed a Sierra Nevada "Torpedo" extra IPA beer with this. The beer was certainly not a great match but is a fantastic drop and I shall review it seperately.
As Food and Wine lovers we travel, sometimes far, often near, but love to try new flavours and experience those things that are not so common to us in Sydney. This blog is about recording our food journey through life, and hopefully will entertain our friends and fellow food lovers . My princess loves to eat, and I love to cook!

Duck breast a la mandarin with beetroot couscous
After a dissapointing days' dining in the Southern Highlands we decided to call in to the "Hot Canary" butchery in Bowral. We ended up with a couple of duck breasts. The plan for dinner was hatched and once home, I perused our orchard, happily finding ripe mandarins in plentiful supply, I found some beetroot in the vege garden and also some broccolini and carrots. Here is the result.
